A list of ThinPrint-related error codes that are displayed on the following Fuji Xerox printers with embedded ThinPrint Client:

  • ApeosPort-IV: C5570, C4470, C3370, C3371, and C2270
  • Docucentre-IV: C5570, C4470, C3370, C3371, and C2270.
Error Code Cause Remedy
017-700 ThinPrint Engine Connection timed out Check connection between printer and ThinPrint Engine
017-701 An error occurred whilst connecting to the ThinPrint Engine Check connection between printer and ThinPrint Engine
017-702 The data sent to the ThinPrint Engine is invalid Check connection between printer and ThinPrint Engine
017-703 The print data from the ThinPrint Engine exceeded
the maximum size of the machine
Split the print job, and try printing again

 ThinPrint Engine SSL Authentication Error Check the server certificate information (expiry date and
address) that is registered to the ThinPrint Engine.
017-709 An SSL Communication Error occurred between ThinPrint
Engine and the printer
Check the settings of the printer
