Setting up an individual printer on a Hub

In the following we create two printers as examples. One is assigned to the Amsterdam group, the other to a single Hub in this group.

Setting up printers for a group of Hubs

  • In the navigation pane on the left, highlight the Group Settings menu item for the Amsterdam group and then select the Add Default Printer menu item in the upper right corner of the NoTouch Center.

  • Select any but unique printer identification number (ID).
  • In the Host Name field, enter the network address of the printer  and optionally the name of the printer driver (which facilitates printer mapping with AutoConnect).
  • Click the Save & Announce button to immediately send the printer properties to the Hubs.
  • With a click on Save, the Hubs retrieve the printer themselves the next time the properties are loaded – usually every 60 minutes (see Announce interval above).
